General Hospital’s Julian did plenty of bad stuff, both during his first stint in Port Charles and throughout this current one. He claimed to find love and reform several times. It didn’t take.
General Hospital Polling
When last we saw him, he had just helped Nelle (Chloe Lanier) abscond with Wiley after knocking out Monica (Leslie Charleson). Oh, yeah, sure, he changed his mind at the last minute and decided to kill Nelle, instead. (That’s also a bad thing, by the way.) But that didn’t work out, and now Nelle took Wiley (to a showdown with Michael), and Julian (William deVry) is left holding the proverbial bag. Has he finally gone too far? What over 12,000 think:
Unforgivable
Remember when Julian held a knife to the throat of Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), the alleged love of his life who was also claiming to be the world’s oldest miracle pregnancy at the time? So, yeah, that was totes forgivable. Agreeing to kidnap Wiley? Not so much, according to a winning 60% of you. Three hundred strikes and you’re out, dude.
True Blood
It’s just Julian being Julian, 22% of the audience dismisses. This is on-brand for him and, frankly, it’s why we tune in. We’d be disappointed if Julian didn’t do Julian like things regularly. In fact, you find it kind of awesome and are ready to forgive the awesome Julian anything.
Monica’s Mood
Chloroforming Monica is where 18% of the fans draw the line, Kidnapping is fine, attempted murder is fine, so is the knife to the throat thing. But you don’t get to assault the elderly in Port Charles! Monica is the go-to babysitter for every ignored Quartermine child. Danny and Scout practically live at the mansion. Getting rid of her would totally cramp Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason’s (Steve Burton) style. And that’s a sin you’re not willing to overlook. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
