General Hospital has several stories about to reach a boiling point. Which one are fans enjoying the most? We got the scoop from over 2,000 voters:
General Hospital Polling: Dead Dad
Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) favorite kinds of dead people are the ones where he decides where, when, and how they bite the big one. Also why. Mike (Max Gail) doesn’t fit into the category. Sonny can’t control when Mike will decline and pass away. And his angst is making 42% of you very happy.
It’s not that you’re enjoying a sick old man’s suffering or even his son’s anguish. It’s more that the story feels real in a way very few others have in a long time.
Long Wiley
A smaller 27% can’t wait to find out who will end up with custody of baby Wiley, Michael (Chad Duell), who seems to think he needs a mother to present to the court, or Nelle (Chloe Lanier), Wiley’s actual mother, who he seems to think will not do — at all.
Shoot ‘Em Up
Mob wartime! Then again, when isn’t it mob wartime in Port Charles? But 14% of the audience doesn’t mind. Mobbing is what Sonny does best, and it’s when he’s presented at his best. You get those bad guys, good guy mobster man!
Peter Principle
Less than a point separated this story from last place, but 9% went with Peter (Wes Ramsey) being a bad boy, killing folks right and left… and making Anna (Finola Hughes) feel bad about it.
Two by Two
Getting the least amount of votes, 8%, is Nik (Marcus Coloma) and Ava’s (Maura West) war against each other using Franco (Roger Howarth) and Liz (Rebecca Herbst). You like the characters individually, well enough. But together, they’re just not doing very much for you. You’re here for love in the afternoon. Not the scheming and the lying… and the… what, where are we, again? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
