Some General Hospital faces have been there for decades. Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman), Monica (Leslie Charleson), Laura (Genie Francis), Scott (Kin Shriner), Jason (Steve Burton), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Liz (Rebecca Herbst). But there was a time when all of the above were new faces.
It’s not always obvious who’ll grow into a new favorite, and who’ll be forgotten within the year. For now, over 3,000 regular viewers named their new favorites – who they hope will become old favorites one day.
He’s hot, he’s broody, he’s named after the original bad boy. All reasons why Brando (Johnny Wactor) has charmed 75% of the audience. We don’t know much about him yet, except he’s not Dev’s (Ashton Arbab) dad… but will he turn out to be the father of Molly’s (Haley Pullos) baby? He’s in the thick of story now. Now don’t blow this!
Brando may be the bad boy who doesn’t actually do anything bad – has he met Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) – but Cyrus (Jeff Kober) is the one we know is bad news. For one thing, he was originally in jail. For another, he has a bone to pick with Sonny. And for a third, you actually believe he’ll do some of the things he threatens – which makes 13% of you very happy and eager to see what happens next!
She’s Taggart’s (Real Andrews) ex, she’s Trina’s (Sydney Mikayla) mom, she’s a doctor at GH… yeah, that’s enough for 11% of the fans to get on the Portia (Brook Kerr) train. She may not have done much yet beyond yell at Ava (Maura West). But that’s a lot of folks’ in Port Charles’ hobby. You hope she’ll move beyond that and actually start driving story. GH can always use a smart woman who is not in love with the mob.
