Should Nora Stay on General Hospital (GH) Permanently?

On General Hospital (GH), legal eagle Nora Buchanan popped into town to help Valentin secure custody of Charlotte.

One Life to Lives fans were happy to see the formidable Llanview character turn up in Port Charles. Having Nora (Hillary B. Smith) play such a pivotal role in Lulu and Valentin’s battle for Charlotte was a wonderful surprise.

Having her represent the crazed Olivia (Tonja Walker), who was carted off to a mental hospital instead of standing trial for her multitude of crimes, felt like a bonus. Soap Hub asked daytime fans if you’d like to see Nora become a permanent part of the PC legal scene. Here are your thoughts on the subject.

Yes, More Nora, Please
Nearly half of you, some 48%, would like to see Nora relocate to Port Charles. The town is a breeding ground for strong female attorneys.

Once Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets her law license reinstated, you’d love to see her, Diane and Nora open a practice together. The three women would be dynamite together and give new meaning to the words, Dream Team.

No, There’s No Place for Her
Having Nora visit for a case now and then is fine, but 38% of you have no interest in having her move to town full time. You feel GH already has enough prominent attorneys between Alexis, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy), and Scotty.

Besides, how would the soap explain Nora relocating without husband Bo? You’d prefer the duo continue living happily ever after together in Llanview.

Totally Undecided
The remaining 14% of you haven’t made up your mind regarding Nora quite yet. While the fiery character helped drive scenes with Valentin, Nina, Diane, and Olivia, now that her court cases are over, there’s really nothing for her to do.

However, you would definitely welcome her return in six months, when Charlotte’s custody is revisited.
