Does Nina Need a New Love Interest on General Hospital?

Poor Nina (Michelle Stafford) has been moping around ever since she and Franco (Roger Howarth) broke up.

That’s probably why she was susceptible to Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) advances on today’s show. Of course, we can’t see that being anything longterm But before that happened, Soap Hub asked fans if Nina needs a love interest. Your choice was almost unanimous.

The Bachelorette
A whopping 91% of the over 7,000 people who voted in the poll say that absolutely Nina needs a new love interest! She is way too much fun in romantic storylines, and it’s about time she gets a new one.

You’re tired of seeing her in so much pain as Franco and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) grow closer. And she needs something more to obsess about than Carly’s (Laura Wright) and Maxie’s problems.

The Single Life
A mere 6% prefer to see Nina mixing things up in other venues. You love watching her run Crimson where she gets to rule the roost. She’s fun as Maxie’s confidante and protective of her brother. Why does everyone have to pair off anyway? She’s interesting enough on her own without having a man to hang onto. She’s no man’s accessory!

Only 3% of you couldn’t make up your minds on this question. You see both sides of the story possibilities. Sure, Nina is fun going crazy over a man, but she’s also a very strong businesswoman and those stories are just as fun for her.
