Mark Lawson, James Patrick Stuart General Hospital
Two stars from General Hospital—James Patrick Stuart and Mark Lawson—didn’t let the COVID-19 pandemic ruin any family milestones, as both offered big birthday wishes to special family members in their lives.
On his Instagram page, Stuart noted that May 18 was a special day to him, not just because it’s his wife Jocelyn’s birthday, but also his son’s!
“So, 18 years ago today, Jocelyn delivered a little baby, Graham, on her birthday,” he wrote beside a photo of his wife and kid enjoying a birthday breakfast celebration. “He’s not so little anymore. Happy birthday mother and son. Love you both.”
In another photo, Stuart added: “From the moment I met you, my life took on a whole new purpose. I had been given the ultimate honor of helping to raise an actual human being. Graham Stuart, today you blow out 18 candles & I am humbled, proud, thrilled & amazed with depth of feeling that I never could have had until you joined our lives. Happy birthday, kid. I Love you.”
In the Lawson household, the man behind Dustin paid tribute to his youngest daughter, Simone Isabella on her third birthday.
“My sweet child. Three years ago you blessed us with your arrival,” he wrote alongside an adorable photo. “Before you, we had an Angel and a Rascal. You are somewhere in between and learning too much from both. There is magic in threes. You prove this. Happy Birthday, Simone Isabella Lawson!”
The two proud dads are obviously getting the most of their off-time and spending fun times with their kids, and these shoutouts are testaments to the fact that not all quarantine time is bad.
On-screen Stuart’s notorious Valentin Cassadine is slowly taking over long-time Quartermaine company, ELQ, as he acquires more and more stock. As usual, he’s not making any friends in the process.
Meanwhile, Lawson’s Dustin is spending his time writing songs with Brook Lynn but hearing “beautiful music” in his relationship with her enemy, Lulu. Needless to say, things have been a bit awkward with a musical triangle developing. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
