General Hospital News Update: Rebecca Budig Has A Message For Her PC Family

Rebecca Budig wasn’t back on General Hospital for long this past year, but she clearly made quite an impression as she always does. On Thursday, she learned she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a drama series and she knows just who she wants to share this honor with.

In 2019, Hayden returned to Port Charles and we waited months to see what happened to the baby she was carrying when she left. Well, it turned out she had an adorable little four-year-old girl who we guess was SORAS’d off-screen and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Little Jophielle Love has become one of our favorite soap kids with her portrayal of Violet Barnes Finn.

Hayden left Violet behind with her dad, Hamilton Finn, when she was tricked into believing her life was in danger once again, but we expect her back one of these days after GH is able to resume production. But even from quarantine, Budig had another message for the little girl this week as she turned 6 years old.

The last we saw Violet, she was also having a birthday a few weeks back and it was quite the party with most the GH kids on the set at the same time, as well as a pet snake Charlotte planted in Ava’s purse. Still, it was not the same without Budig and Hayden. Violet needs her mom and we suggest she show up just in time for Anna and Finn’s wedding… General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
