Few General Hospital fans can forget adorable little Serena Baldwin, as played by blonde cherub Carly Schroeder. She lit up Kin Shriner and Scotty Baldwin’s life as the baby Lucy carried for him and Dominique after Dominique learned she was dying.

Kin Shriner Looks Back
Serena eventually thought of Lucy as her mom and now spends her life in Europe. We did see a grownup Serena in recent years as she returned to Port Charles when her grandfather, Lee (Peter Hansen), died but alas it was only for a few days and Serena took off from PC again.
That’s because, in real life, Carly Schroeder has a very important job to do defending The United States of America. She’s a member of the US Army and plans to become an officer with the Military Intelligence Corp. Right now, she serves as a Second Lieutenant.
This week, Shriner paid tribute to his former TV daughter with a Throwback Thursday photo of him and Schoeder back in the 1990s.
“Back in my house in the hills @Carlyfries18 my TV kid @GeneralHospital #PortCharles #serenabaldwin teaching her my one piece on piano, now she is serving our great country with brother Hunter!” Shriner tweeted, while also sharing photos of himself and Schroeder by his piano, and another one of her in combat gear doing her job serving our country.
It’s a sweet photo that brings back memories of when Serena was the light of Scott’s life, but he at least has a long-lost son (Franco) to keep him busy now. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
