While sheltering in place and unable to work on General Hospital the last few months as all soaps have shut down production, Nancy Lee Grahn has found ways to both cope with the pandemic still facing our nation and also entertain.
Nancy Lee Grahn And Guests
She started with Soaps In Quarantine, a podcast in which she interviewed and chatted with other soap stars and virtually and even had a one-on-one conversation with the legendary Tony Geary all the way from Amsterdam.
For her birthday in quarantine, she threw a drive-by birthday party for herself in which her GH co-stars and friends drove through her street parade-style to say hello, drop off gifts, and send her good wishes. She even had daughter, Kate, there to hand out toilet paper as party favors — via social distance, of course.
When Kate herself experienced a virtual college graduation, Grahn hosted another car parade to congratulate and surprise her daughter with all the familiar faces to see. Now, she is giving us another entertaining moment scheduled for Thursday evening at 7 pm EST, 4 pm PST.
Who Will Appear?
“Get ready for 3 Emmy Winning Divas, a Therapist, and COVID Chaos. Tomorrow,” the General Hospital star wrote on Instagram near a short amusing video of toilet paper and paper towels, two things in short supply during this pandemic, and images that have become symbols for the times.
Grahn, an Emmy winner herself, will be joined by fellow actresses Jane Elliot (Tracy, GH) and Kim Zimmer (Reva, Guiding Light), and we assume a therapist as well. We expect laughs all around, as well as some serious moments as the country did just pass 100,000 deaths from this virus in about 10 weeks’ time.
You can watch Grahn’s first meet of her COVID support group here. You can also find he YouTube channel here. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
