General Hospital News Update: Eden McCoy Is Ready To Bring You More Joss

Soap operas have been experiencing their first-ever rerun season thanks to the coronavirus pandemic shutting down production and fans are anxious to see new stories return. Just as anxious are the actors, including General Hospital star Eden McCoy, who was entering a true love story as Josslyn the last we saw her in May.

“Hey #GH fans, if I haven’t told u lately, we love you. thank you for sticking with us thru everything. Thank u for caring. We can’t wait to get back. We miss u and making shows for you,” the actress tweeted on Tuesday night.

Lucky for us, the reruns allowed us to see McCoy’s debut as Josslyn last week as the character returned from Australia to be there as her mother, Carly, married Sonny for the fifth time. Little Joss even broke out her recorder flute to play the wedding march in the hospital chapel as Carly walked down the aisle.

And lucky for McCoy, she has good things in her life to look forward to. She’s spending time at the beach and tweeted an adorable little video of herself and a loving dog on Monday. This Friday, she is also up for a Daytime Emmy Award in the category of Outstanding Younger Performer.

The past year saw Joss lose her first love, Oscar, to cancer and try to go on with life not realizing Cameron Webber had feelings for her. She had just learned about Cam when GH ran out of new episodes, but it might be too later for them as Cam has been growing closer to Joss’s best friend, Trina.

As of now, The Bold and the Beautiful plans to resume production on Wednesday, despite two false starts. The Young and the Restless has a target date of July 6 but Days of Our Lives and GH do not have any plans they have made public as of yet. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
