Sadly, Tajh Bellow, the handsome young actor who plays TJ Ashford on General Hospital has experienced a huge loss close to home due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Tajh Bellow Reveals Tragic Loss
Bellow recently took to social media to pay tribute to his cousin, who lost his life to COVID-19. The actor is understandably upset and reveals his pain in this beautiful and heartfelt tribute to him.
“Christopher Lavergne…my cousin. From Lake Charles, Louisiana like my father, like so many from my family. We haven’t seen each other in the longest time, and I regret that we never spoke enough. He passed away from COVID yesterday and did not deserve to die the way he did. He should not have suffered the way that he did.
“I’m hurt, I’m angry. I DON’T UNDERSTAND KARMA. There are so many that take living for granted right now, so self centeredly focusing on their own health without regard to asymptotically spreading it to others. So many focused on petty liberties that black people like my cousin don’t even have, and my cousin is dead,” he wrote.
But then Bellow doesn’t hold back as she shares how this has made him feel. “I’m TIRED. I’M TIRED. I’M DONE. SOMEONE HAD THE AUDACITY TO ASK ME IF HE DIED FROM COVID OR UNDERLYING ILLNESS, BEFORE EVEN SAYING IM SORRY. IM DONE. EVIL. EVIL. EVIL.
“I’m sorry this isn’t the post for resting in peace, you are loved. You are missed. You are home. My family, I bleed with you,” he said before adding his wish for everyone reading his words: “WEAR YOUR GOD DAMN MASKS.”
Soap Hub sends condolences to Tajh Bellow during this heartbreaking time. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
