General Hospital News: Might Duke Return for Good?

If you didn’t get enough of Duke’s appearance in Anna’s dreams yesterday and those tender scenes between Finola Hughes and Ian Buchanan, take heart. If Buchanan has his way, “General Hospital” might see more of the Scottish mobster.

The actor enjoyed every bit of his brief return to and told ABC Soaps In Depth, he’s all for a more permanent stay.

“I’d love it,” Buchanan said. “I haven’t had a conversation about it, but a lot of people are talking about it and a lot of people will be disappointed if he just appears and disappears again.”

Indeed, it was disappointing to see Anna finally wake and find Duke wasn’t there after all. The chemistry between the Hughes and Buchanan has transcended decades and fans’ hearts broke last year when Duke was suddenly killed just after he and Anna decided to run off together.
