General Hospital News: Kelly Thiebaud Wants You to Live Your Best Life

The coronavirus has thrown most people’s lives, at best, off-kilter, and at worst, into utter turmoil. And while she may play a real “Britch” on General Hospital, actress Kelly Thiebaud has some words of wisdom during this challenging time.

Kelly Thiebaud Stays Positive

The GH fan favorite took to Instagram to gently suggest that people use this challenging time as a wake-up call. “What are you waiting for?” Thiebaud rhetorically asks. “That thing you’ve always wanted to do. New haircut🙋🏻‍♀️ move to that city you’ve been talking about.

“Change job (hard to do now but ya know) end that bad relationship,” she continues. “Learn a new skill. Start a new hobby. Call that friend or family member you haven’t spoken to in a while. Life is too short and fragile to keep putting your desires and dream on hold. The time is now.”

Perhaps that what was in the actress’s mind when she left Port Charles to test the acting waters in other genres. Thiebaud joined GH in 2012 as sexy doctor Britt Westbourne. She stuck around for a few years during which time viewers learned Britt’s dad was the dangerous Cesar Faison (Anders Nove) and her mother is the incomparable Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Katheleen Gati). Britt also tried to trick Patrick (Jason Thompson) into thinking she was carrying his child.

While Thiebaud has returned to GH many times since first leaving the show in 2014, she has also starred in the films Love at First Glance and A Mother on the Edge. Last season, she landed the recurring role of Eva Vasquez on Station 19.

Thiebaud briefly popped up as Zoey on Days of Our Lives, but she vacated that role after a handful of episodes. Will Thiebaud reprise Britt or continue on with Station 19? Or could she do both as the two programs are each on ABC? Stay tuned to find out.
