Generally speaking, lawmen on soaps keep their hair short and, if they wear beards or mustaches, they’re neatly trimmed. We imagine, based on his current look, Josh Swickard will be visiting either his barber or the show’s hair department before shooting his next scene on General Hospital. Still, he has been doing a lot of thinking while in quarantine.
“As I head back to work (and to a workplace that looks very different from before)…I’m reflecting on how I spent my quarantine and what I learned,” Josh Swickard, who plays Det. Harrison Chase, posted on Instagram. “Time is precious. Life is short. 5 min morning meditation goes a long way. Never stop dating your spouse. Read, read, read. Family is everything.
“And finally,” the actor added, “we all need to figure out how to get off our throne and wash some feet. I hope everyone is coming out of this period more resilient to the unknown, hungry for life, and curious about why we’re all here. Love you all! 🤙🏽🌎❤️🙏🏽🙌🏽.”
James Patrick Stuart (Valentin), Swickard’s castmate, poked fun at his pal’s lengthy hair in a tweet, likening his image to a member of the rock group The Doobie Brothers. “@josh_swickard you look great, man,” Stewart posted. “Also I have Photoshop now.”
There’s no official word on when GH will return to taping, but according to Swickard’s post that may be happening sooner rather than later. Viewers could see new episodes of the ABC sudser on the air by sometime in early August. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check local listings for air times.
