As the coronavirus continues to rage on across the country, Los Angeles is no different as many people are staying inside, trying to stop the spread. While that has caused a lot of issues for many, there is one bright spot and General Hospital star James Patrick Stuart has revealed one that his family has experienced.
James Patrick Stuart Shares Good News
The handsome actor who has played Valentin Cassadine since 2016, took to Twitter to share a great bit of news with his many followers — along with a picture of his son standing in from of the Department of Motor Vehicles.
“Today there was only one person in line at the DMV… And it was my kid…. with his first driver’s license! #yikes,” he wrote. Yikes, perhaps, because he has a new reason to worry now that his son has earned a bit of freedom — a huge milestone in the life of many kids out there.
But they lucked out because during normal times pre-coronavirus, who can recall a time ever at the DMV when there isn’t a long line? Followers were quick to offer the actor their congratulations on his son’s achievement.
“Congratulations! They grow up so fast! I’m surprised he was able to get in at the DMV. Our Secretary of State/DMV offices only take appointments and they are booked up to Nov! They take same day appointments but they go very quickly. I’ve been trying to get in for weeks,” wrote Twitter user Renee Galante (@rgalante).
Another Twitter user, Patti Barry (@PattiBe46244025), also had words of wisdom saying, “Such a big life-event! Best advice I got when my firstborn got his license was: ‘Expect car damage during the 1st yr, so you won’t be mad when it happens. If it doesn’t happen, you’ll be so relieved!'”
Soap Hub sends congratulations to James Patrick Stuart and his son on this important milestone. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
