Since March, kids have not been in school, and for young soap stars, there’s been no set to visit either. But that doesn’t mean Ava and Grace Scarola, who play Avery Corinthos on General Hospital, don’t know how to have fun.
This week they did something not many little girls do… they went whale watching, but sadly didn’t see any whales.
“Always up for an adventure. Today we spent the afternoon searching for whales. We didn’t see any, but we got to see a bunch of playful dolphins along the way,” their mother posted to Instagram with photos of the two girls on a boat on the ocean with picture-perfect blue skies. You can also see the little girls are staying safe and wearing their masks.
It looks like Ava and Grace, along with their older sister, decided to take up tennis this summer, something new for them, according to their mom.
Hopefully, the girls are able to head back to the General Hospital set soon (with safety precautions in place, of course), as the soap began taping again last week and is set to start airing new episodes on Monday.
Ava and Grace have been playing Avery since they were infants and are now ready to enter the first grade. As California is not opening schools this fall for fear of more coronavirus spread, they will be doing so online as they did last spring, joining millions of other kids across the country.
