ABC soap fans will fondly (or not-so-fondly) remember actor James Patrick Stuart’s portrayal of Will Cortlandt on “All My Children.” While Will started out as a milquetoast nice guy, he soon morphed into a sociopath, disappointing Uncle Palmer and sister Dixie.
Now comes the news that Stewart, who played will from 1989-1992 has been cast in a “General Hospital” mystery role. According to Soap Opera Digest, Stuart is already on the GH set and will make a July debut. It looks like it’s going to be a summer of new (Trent Dawson as Huxley) and old (Ingo Rademacher as Jax) in Port Charles.
In his years off soaps, Stuart has made a number of primetime appearances, including on shows like “Seinfeld,” “Supernatural,” and CSI.
