Earlier this week, General Hospital star Finola Hughes teased a new project by premiering a trailer for the show, EnterExit, that she worked on with a few of her current and former co-stars.
Finola Hughes Reveals First Episode
Late afternoon on Monday, Hughes shared the first episode that was made with fellow GHer Marc Anthony Samuel (Felix), on-again/off-again co-star Brooklyn Rae Silzer (Emma), as well as BFF Ian Buchanan (ex-Duke). When she teased the trailer for the project, she gave a few details on the creative team behind the new series.
“During this lockdown, some friends and I decided to create an IGTV show for you all. It’s called #enterexit Here is the teaser x enjoy. Check back here tomorrow,” she teased, adding the team credits, “Writer @mattboren Director photography @eunuch_b0y, Cast @ian.buchanan @marcasart @brooklynraesilzer @norma_maldonado_buha @fouadmirza, Music @sayzar_mareuh, Second camera @scorpio_booklet, Artwork @landofgal.”
It’s a thriller, shot in a creative way by director Hughes to keep social distance in mind. The drama starts with a phone call between Silzer’s character and Hughes, though they don’t know each other. It immediately appears that Silzer is in great danger, so Hughes reaches out to Buchanan’s character, hoping he can help — but things don’t go as smoothly as she’d hoped.
The first episode, which you can see below, is a tight 1 minute and 16 seconds, and gets the adrenaline pumping immediately. The reaction is already very positive, as the daytime community was quick to react with comments about the new series’ trailer, even before an actual episode had dropped.
“You’re amazing!!!!!!!! I can’t wait !!!” wrote Laura Wright (Carly). Rebecca Budig (Hayden) added, “Awesome,” while Hughes’ followers were also quick to react to the first episode.
“Fabulous! Excited to follow along! Could you have ever imagined that your fabulous windows and white interior would be so wonderfully conducive to filming your own show, in your own home, during a global pandemic one day??!?? 👏👏👏” wrote @kelli.mcalister while several others were wondering how often a new episode would drop.
No word yet on the release schedule but hopefully the new show’s fans won’t have to wait too long to see what happens next. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
