A desperate Claudette recently dropped a bombshell on Nathan, telling the General Hospital cop that he left her with more than a broken marriage. She was in fact pregnant with their daughter.
Of course, Nathan’s current love, Maxie, isn’t buying a word of it. How can she considering all the lies Claudette (Bree Williamson) has been telling since the day she stepped foot in Port Charles? But, what if her claim isn’t a lie after all? Soap Hub asked — if you think Nathan and Maxie will survive if Nathan is the father.
Better Together
Over 6,500 of you voted and a healthy 62% believe that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie are strong enough to weather this Claudette storm. After all, Maxie loves Nathan with all of her heart, and she knows this happened before they even met so it’s not like he cheated on her. She also has a child with someone else, so she can’t exactly hold that against him. You’re sure that if Nathan turns out to be the father, Maxie may be ticked off but she wouldn’t hold it against the girl or Nathan. It’s always Claudette who incurs her wrath.
Tear Them Apart
Still, 31% of you don’t believe in Nathan and Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) love to the point that you think they can get past this if the child turns out to be Nathan’s. Maxie has been thrown so many curve balls by Nathan, how could she be expected to accept this, too? You’re Team Maxie all the way, and you think this could do them in. Maxie deserves better, and you hope she finds it.
Jury Is Out
Apparently 7% aren’t sure how this will all shake out. Where does Dr. Monroe (Matt Cohen) fall into all of this? If the little girl isn’t his, would he be able to help Maxie handle it? Would Nina (Michelle Stafford) urge her protégé to stick by her brother’s side? There are too many options and you’re not sure which one it will be. Either way, you’re loving General Hospital and can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
