Did General Hospital’s Luke Spencer Fake His Own Death?

Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) on General Hospital has faced life and death situations for most of his life.

He was written off as dead more times than we can count (okay so math isn’t our strong suit). Why should anyone believe that this skeleton means he’s dead. Soap Hub asked fans if they think Luke could be behind it and faking his own death. The reaction is pretty mixed.

Master of Disguise
This certainly wasn’t a runaway like many Soap Hub polls. While 59% does indicate a majority, it certainly isn’t a ringing endorsement. You know Luke and how he’s able to get out of sticky situations too numerous to list. Why couldn’t he have done this to throw someone off his trail? Could Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) have encountered our Port Chuckles fave and warranted this drastic action?

Off Base
There is a strong 30% of you who can’t believe Luke could be behind this. He wouldn’t be so cruel to Lulu (Emme Rylan), Lucky, Laura (Genie Francis) or Tracy (Jane Elliot) for that matter, nor anyone else who cares about him. Even if he had to go underground, he would have found a way to get word to them. You’re hoping the skeleton doesn’t belong to Luke, but you’re unwilling to believe he could be behind it.

Too Confusing
It seems 11% of you aren’t sure what to think. Luke has been in some pretty tight spots before, but this seems too outrageous. Is he capable of it? Sure. Would he? You aren’t willing to bet on. Either way, you are loving watching this story unfold on General Hospital, and you’re ready to see what happens next.
