Britt wasn’t the only one shocked when Brad was wheeled into General Hospital on the Wednesday show — fans everywhere were excited to see their favorite jailbird once again, even though his life hangs in the balance. Now Parry Shen is revealing what it was like to return to the set.
Parry Shen Returns To General Hospital
They say you can’t go home again but as any soap viewer knows, it’s not true when you’re talking about characters who have left a soap opera. But still, it was a little nerve-wracking for Shen to drive up to the guard gate on the ABC set — or so he said, obviously for laughs, in a recent social media video.
“Looks like they haven’t changed the locks on me,” he wrote in the caption accompanying the video. “Let’s go. #Brad #GH” In the snippet, he prepares to show his I.D., hoping that they’ll still let him on the lot for his big day.
As for poor Brad, just moments before we saw him, we got an inkling of his possible fate after Cyrus (Jeff Kober) told Julian (William deVry) that he had done him a favor by getting rid of all the loose ends who could cause trouble for him by revealing to Sonny (Maurice Benard) that Julian knew about his grandson’s baby switch.
Brad was already staying quiet, so Julian probably won’t be thrilled with this move but it’s Brad’s BFF Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) whom Cyrus should worry about now. If she gets wind of how Brad ended up in the hospital, she could leverage her newfound bond with Jason (Steve Burton) to turn the tables on the bad mobster (and her current boss).
Will Brad survive his brush with Cyrus’s goons to bond with Britt another day? Or has the Port Charles war caused another casualty? Stay tuned to find out. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
