It’s been nearly a year since we last saw Tracy Quartermaine in Port Charles and we’re thrilled to know she’s enjoying Amsterdam with Luke, but we miss her nonetheless, thanks to her brilliant portrayal for decades by Jane Elliot.
Elliot chose to retire last year to enjoy a life of freedom away from the demands of daytime, and today she has reason to celebrate as she turns 71. Elliot was born on January 17, 1947.
A New York City native, she began her career there and eventually made it to Hollywood where she appeared in a flick with Elvis Presley, tons of primetime episodics, and made a name for herself on daytime.
Tracy is the role that brought her soap fame, but she also appeared on Guiding Light, All My Children, and Days of Our Lives.
Soap Hub wishes Elliot the happiest of birthdays today and hopes she one day decides to come out of retirement and bring Tracy home.
