On General Hospital, not every love story is reserved for the teeny-bopper set. Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) have both been around the block more than once — with more than one person.
But they found each other and, after that little snafu where Kevin’s evil twin locked him up in the looney bin and took his place, dumping Laura in the process, they found each other again. But is their story deserving of front-burner status? Here’s what over 15000 fans had to say:
Laura and Kevin front and center all the way, 61% of you are ready to break out the picket signs. These two deserve it! Sure, they’re both people who’ve made mistakes, but they’ve also tried to make up for them. Which is a lot more than folks like Sonny (Maurice Benard), Carly (Laura Wright), or Jason (Steve Burton) can say.
They try to do the right thing and they truly love each other. That’s a nice thing to see, especially when other couples are lying, scheming, and constantly plotting behind each other’s backs — yes, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) and Nina (Cynthia Watros), we mean you.
How about some real love during our love in the afternoon. You can start with Laura and Kevin.
Done In the Sun
Kevin is over. He was big in, what? The 1990s? And Laura? That’s even worse. We’re talking the 80s. They’re, like, ancient, 39% of you counter. Nobody wants to watch old people. Especially nice old people. Why don’t they go bake some cookies, or something, and leave the front burner for young, sexy people doing dirty, sexy things?
Who wants to watch a guy who’s brother was a serial killer when you can watch a brain-damaged serial killer? Or a reformed one with somebody else’s memories? (Of course, we jest. Some people just may not like them and that’s ok.) General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
