Poor Julian was abandoned Friday by two more people he foolishly thought would be in his court on General Hospital.
He’s learning the hard way he may have gone too far this time by trying to kill his beloved wife. And, after already being served divorce papers and forced to wait for his trial in prison, the alleged murderer had a very bad day.
Blood May Be Thicker, But…
After whining for what seemed like weeks, Julian finally got to see his sister, Ava (Maura West). At first, she couldn’t believe he tried to kill Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) but when he didn’t deny it, she was in shock. Of course, when he revealed she wore a wire to trap him, Ava was incensed. When Julian asked for Ava’s help to break him out of prison, he went too far. Ava is willing to do just about anything for her brother, but she was unwilling to risk doing something that could land her in prison–away from her kids.

Next, Sam (Kelly Monaco) took her turn. She first went to see her mother to get all the details about what happened. So, it wasn’t too surprising to see her become Julian’s next visitor. Relief at seeing her quickly faded when she lit into him for what he did to Alexis. She completely disowned him and let him know she no longer considered him her father. What happened next was a low blow.
Julian couldn’t believe she would want to alienate him considering he was a perfect match to help her son Danny. Sam saw through his fatherly concern for what it was – a threat on her son’s life. She quickly let him know that Jason was able to step in and she didn’t need him. Just when you think Julian can’t sink any lower, he outdoes himself. It’s getting harder and harder to see how General Hospital will ever be able to make this character palatable again.
