The General Hospital recap for Monday, June 3 features a reckoning between a set of twins and maybe even the launch of an exciting new “who done it?” mystery.
Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) awoke to find Kevin (also Jon Lindstrom) hovering over his bed. The twins take pot shots at each other with Ryan making reference to hoisting Kevin into the rafters at the Nurses Ball and Kevin wondering if Ryan has anyone who truly loves him.
Ryan insisted that Ava loves him — the knife to his back was merely a display of passion — but Kevin countered that it was attempted murder.
Kevin queried his brother what it’s like to be so narcissistic but Ryan insisted that his brother needs him to always be around and vice versa. Without Ryan, Kevin is a boring do-good but his twin makes him saintly by comparison. And Ryan, without Kevin, is simply a psychotic in the annals of serial killer lore.
In Finn’s (Michael Easton) office, a seething Curtis (Donnell L. Turner) railed at Ryan’s decision to not donate his kidney to a rapidly declining Jordan.
Their anger at the situation leads Curtis and Finn to suppose a scenario where they forge Ryan’s signature on consent forms and then simply allow him to die on the operating table to cover their tracks.
Franco (Roger Howarth) and Ava (Maura West) arrived at Kiki’s grave with flowers – it’s a small gesture since the young woman isn’t alive to celebrate her birthday with them. Franco told Ava about his confrontation with Ryan who he assures her will live.
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) shared a moment with Valerie (Paulina Bugembe) where she admitted to the younger woman that she has come to terms with the fact that she will die but she assured her that she will make the most of each and every moment she has left with friends and family.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) again cautioned Jax (Ingo Rademacher) to be wary of Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) – he has the Cassadine brilliance but not the streak of insanity that leads to their downfall.
Alexis also filled Neil (Joe Flanigan) in on Kristina’s revelation that her pledge had been about her and admitted that she resents her daughter.
Back at GH, Kevin accepted a mysterious phone call while an unknown individual in hospital scrubs entered a sleeping Ryan’s hospital room and injected a suspicious fluid into his I.V.
