Nelle’s calculated plan to destroy Carly on General Hospital has affected three members of the Corinthos family.
The vindictive Nelle (Chloe Lanier) set up Sonny to think that they had a one-night stand. (They didn’t!) Then, she taped him confessing to the tryst. When Carly found the audio file and listened to it, she was devastated.
Meanwhile, Michael, who had grown close to Nelle, is now dealing with the fact that she’s not the caring young woman he was hoping to start a relationship with. Soap Hub asked General Hospital fans who you think Nelle has wronged – and hurt – the most. Nearly 10,000 fans spoke out.
Carly
While votes were clearly divided, 40% of you feel Carly (Laura Wright) was the most wronged Corinthos. She adored Nelle from the moment she learned she was Joslyn’s (Eden McCoy) kidney donor. Carly proceeded to hire Nelle as her assistant and quickly welcomed her into her life. Carly truly believed she and Nelle had become close friends. Instead, she learned Nelle knifed her in the back by going after her husband when she wasn’t looking.

Sonny
There’s no question that Sonny (Maurice Benard) is the person who was most wronged by Nelle, according to 37% of you. She drugged him, undressed him, and slipped into bed beside him. The next morning, he had no recollection of what happened, and Nelle convinced him they’d had sex. Sonny was played for a fool, and that doesn’t happen very often.
Michael
The biggest victim in all this is Michael (Chad Duell), according to 24% of you. He had developed a special friendship with Nelle. She supported him through the loss of his brother Morgan and he was starting to develop real romantic feelings for her. Michael, in fact, was hoping the two of them could pursue a relationship. Then, he learned Nelle had sex with his father, because of a twisted vendetta against Carly.
