Today marks one week since a new episode of General Hospital aired in the United States thanks to the ongoing coverage of the Impeachment Trial of Donald J. Trump. But, GH certainly wants fans to come back when the soap does start airing again.
General Hospital Will Be Back…Soon
To that end, it tweeted a promotional video of happy Port Charles moments that make us long for our soap’s return ASAP. (Although Soap Hub continues to stress the importance of what is going on in Washington, as well.)
You’ll see recent joyous scenes like when Franco (Roger Howarth) woke as Franco and Donna Corinthos being born, but it also starts with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) driving Cassandra (Jessica Tuck) away from Pentonville captivity telling her to sit back and enjoy the ride — essentially telling us to sit back and enjoy the ride.
Sadly, we might not get a ride to enjoy once again this week as the impeachment trial continues. Soap Hub still urges ABC to use the internet and streaming (ABC.com and Hulu) to get GH out there at night, but it seems firm in its decision that you have to watch it right on the network.
You can see all these happy and dramatic moments in the tweeted video below, as well as another video with Finola Hughes (Anna), Michael Easton (Finn), and Jophielle Love (Violet) telling us to make sure to keep up with the soap on social media to know when new episodes will air. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
