Vacation is over for the cast of General Hospital (GH), and now that they are back shooting, one holdout has returned as well.
As you probably noticed, Roger Howarth’s Franco has been missing in action lately, but thanks to a tweet from the show and Nathan Varni (ABC Network Current Series Executive), we now know the popular actor is back at the studio and shooting new scenes.
While the show didn’t really address Franco’s absence, the reason was that contract negotiation with Howarth had gone down to the wire.
The writers didn’t know which way it was going to go, so just to be safe, they wrote the character out for a while.

Luckily, the show and the actor were able to come to terms so now he’s back.
Of course, fans are still worried about another holdout.
William deVry (Julian) is also in contract negotiations and neither side is willing to say that his exit is a done deal.
Needless to say, Julexis fans are doing everything they can to make sure their favorite guy is brought back for a long time.
Time will tell.
