The General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, February 26 features Mike’s deterioration and Sonny’s determination to save him.
Heartbreaking Diagnosis
Mike (Max Gail) was as confused as ever at the PCPD and thinks he needs to get home to Rita. Sonny (Maurice Benard) did his best to get Detective Chase to release him, but it was a no-go.
When Dante (Dominic Zamprogna)showed up, Mike thought of him as Dominic and told his new partner where he could go for keeping an old man with Alzheimer’s locked up.
Before Dante got to the station, he had dealt with Carly (Laura Wright), Jason (Steve Burton), and a homeless man who told them a story of a drug addict using a payphone. Then, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) showed up with a box of booze for the man as payment for lying. Before that, Nelle buttered up Josslyn (Eden McCoy) with a pair of fancy shoes.
When Carly finally arrived home, she found Sonny drowning his own sorrows in booze and he told her about Mike’s diagnosis.
Love Me, Love Me Not
Meanwhile, Ava (Maura West) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) hashed it out after she told him she’s in love with him, but he couldn’t say it back. Instead, he wasn’t sure how to process the information or if he’d be enough for her. But, that didn’t stop them from heading back to her place to make up for lost time.
Brad Has An Order
Over at Charlie’s Pub, Brad (Parry Shen) had a few words with Julian (William deVry)–telling him if any social worker asks about his relationship with Lucas (Ryan Carnes), he’s to say they’re estranged. Julian wasn’t too thrilled with this idea, but realized he has to live with it.
