General Hospital (GH) Recap: A New Beginning For Ava And Griffin

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, October 20 features some big decisions that also came with some surprising revelations–and results.

Where Will This Lead?
Ava (Maura West) was surprised to see ‘Patient 6’ had left her home, but then pleased to see Griffin (Matt Cohen) at her door. He announced he left the priesthood, but that he wasn’t sure about their relationship.

They agreed to no commitment but that didn’t stop them from doing the deed right on her couch. Of course, Ava stuck with the no commitment rule and didn’t let him stay the night.

Danger Alert
Meanwhile, Original Jason (Steve Burton) waited at the bridge for Sonny (Maurice Benard), but was surprised to see he brought Current Jason (Billy Miller) with him. Eventually, shots rang out and Sonny and Current Jason did nothing. Original Jason let the shooter go.

Wire Taps
Later, they both learned from Michael (Chad Duell) that his phone had been tapped, as had Monica’s making Current Jason believe whoever nefarious is out there is after him.

Girl Talk
Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) had a visit so Maxie could supply Sam with a dress for a big Derek Wells Media party. She even urged Sam to get rid of her old leather jacket to start her new life. She also tried to get Sam to give her back her old job at Crimson to no avail.

More Girl Talk
Monica (Leslie Charleson) had enough troubles with her phone being tapped, but then she had to run into a newly-returned Olivia (Lisa LoCiciro).

Monica was not happy with what Olivia was doing to HER house and called her a guest there. Olivia reminded her it’s only her house cause Alan gave it to her–a la Tracy.

Save The Earth, Michael
Ned (Wally Kurth) and Michael clashed over ELQ stuff and we learned Michael is the modern environmentalist, while Ned has no problem dumping bad things into our environment for profit.
