The General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, January 29 features a distraught Maxie praying for Nathan’s life, but the future looked bleak.
A Race To Save
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Faison (Anders Hove) both ended up in surgery, but Faison’s seemed to go better than Nathan’s. He was awake and talking, while Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was asked to think about organ donation.
She got comfort from Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) and Jason (Steve Burton), but then Griffin (Matt Cohen) came out after the surgery to give her news and the look on his face may have said it all.
Wyndemere Magic
Meanwhile, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) opened the tunnel entrance in his living room and in walked Lulu (Emme Rylan) and Liesl (Kathleen Gati). Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was thrilled to have found his wife, but when he called Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) he learned about Nathan and they all rushed to the hospital.
Lulu, Liesl, Nina, and Valentin were all there with Maxie when Griffin came out of surgery and they were ready to hear what he had to say.
The Tale Of Faison
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Jason discussed what happened to Faison, and Anna wished Jason had just killed him. She was ashamed for thinking that way and said for years, she hid that part of her in order to be a good role model for Robin. She later spoke to Faison after surgery and he said the Cassadines were to blame for this current situation.
Sins Of Another Son?
Peter (Wes Ramsey) lurked around town, but when questioned by Jordan he claimed Faison missed, he wasn’t shot, and he just hit his head and knocked himself out. Later, we saw Peter burn a bulletproof vest in a garbage can, but hold onto the bullet. Henrik, anyone?
