General Hospital (GH) Recap: Michael’s Going To Be A Dad!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, January 16 features Michael and Nelle getting the test results they’ve been waiting for.

Daddy Michael
Nelle (Chloe Lanier) had the paternity test results sent right from the lab to Michael (Chad Duell) to prove what’s in them are true. He opened them in front of her and it said he’s the father. Michael felt excited and overwhelmed and agreed to go to a sonogram with Nelle next week.

He then ran into Jason (Steve Burton) and told him the news. Jason reminisced about his time raising baby Michael and told him babies teach you how to love unconditionally.

It seemed weird Michael would be overwhelmed by fatherhood when he’d already been Avery’s legal guardian and thought Sabrina was pregnant with his child for several months.

Independent Women?
Meanwhile, Nelle told Ava (Maura West) if she plays her cards right that maybe she’d win Michael back, and Ava advised her against that and told her to be her own woman. That was also odd from a woman who thinks she’s only worth as much as a face with no scars. To that end, she prepared for her final surgery.

Daddy Dilemmas
Drew (Billy Miller) also had to deal with fatherhood on all ends when Jake (Hudson West) asked him to come to a father-son event at school. Drew told him it’s also okay if he gets to know Jason, and when Jake saw Jason from afar outside Kelly’s, he waved to him.

Kim (Tamara Braun) had a bone to pick with Drew when she learned Oscar (Garren Stitt) had no plans to have sex but did learn to box thanks to Drew.

Mommy Dilemmas
Carly (Laura Wright) was relieved to learn Joss (Eden McCoy) and Oscar had no sex plans and that the condoms were for Joss’s friend. She was also surprised to learn Joss and Oscar were planning an alternative dance for a transgender friend.
