General Hospital (GH) Recap: A Long Flight From Russia

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, October 5 features Griffin avoiding his feelings and Ava being Ava, but stuff happened on the ground in Port Charles, as well.

Russia, Russia, Russia
Griffin (Matt Cohen) completely put Ava (Maura West) in the friend zone and she didn’t seem to buy it, but she has to live with what is–for now. (She’s Ava after all.)

However, when Griffin explained how he found her, Ava realized Patient 6 (Steve Burton) helped him. When she heard Sonny helped him, she realized that’s who Patient 6 was trying to contact.

Griffin insisted that couldn’t be true, but Ava is no dummy and knows what’s going on–with Patient 6 AND with Griff.

Back in Port Charles, Sonny (Maurice Benard) obsessed over who called him from Russia and put Brick on the job of finding out. Meanwhile, Oscar (Garren Stitt) and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) went on a sweet date and he revealed he doesn’t know who his father is. Of course, Joss REALLY wants to know.

Ask Man Landers
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) found he has fans and one even brought him some baked goods at the station for saving her relationship. Maxie (Kirsten Storm) and Amy (Risa Dorken) then bonded over a Metro Court meal and Maxie explained social media perceptions to the nurse. (Can she do that for others, too?)

Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) tried enjoying some alone time, but then Aunt Stella barged in to announce she got a job and is staying in Port Charles for good. This prompted Jordan to make an appointment with Man Landers himself for some relationship advice. Oy.
