General Hospital (GH) Recap: Drew And Sam Are Free To Wed!

The General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, January 12 features a divorce being finalized that nobody seemed to want for sure.

The End Of An Era?
While Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) argued that Jason’s lifestyle as a mob enforcer could endanger Danny, who only knew Drew (Billy Miller) as his father, Sam (Kelly Monaco) insisted Jason would be a part of Danny’s life and signed divorce papers. She then promptly fired Alexis, who has also been married to the mob.

Meanwhile, Drew was busy teaching Oscar (Garren Stitt) how to box and defend himself when Sam stopped by the gym to say they are now free to marry.

Jason may have been heartbroken, but he went on with his life trying to figure out what happened to the last five years of it. Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) somehow found an email address for PK Sinclair and thought this would be a perfect lead.

Maxie’s Panic
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) was freaked out when Nathan (Ryan Paevey) told her that he let Lulu interview him in order to lure Faison (Anders Hove) out of hiding. When he tried to call Lulu off, the article already appeared online and it was too late.

Something New?
At Charley’s Pub, Julian (William deVry) served Corinthos Coffee as he had been told, but also made a new friend in Kim (Tamara Braun), who stopped by the bar for a drink while not knowing Oscar was learning to box.

Teen Angst
At Casa Corinthos, Carly (Laura Wright) talked Josslyn (Eden McCoy) out of wearing a spaghetti strap black dress to the dance by telling her she could be slut-shamed, even if she is perfectly innocent.

They agreed on another dress, but when Joss left for the library with Oscar, she found a box of condoms in the teen’s backpack.
