The General Hospital (GH) recap for Wednesday, February 28 features another sad day for the Corinthos clan.
Cut and Run?
Rita arrived from Brooklyn wanting to know what the heck was going on with Mike (Max Gail) and after pushing Carly (Laura Wright) for answers, Carly finally told her that Mike has Alzheimer’s.
Rita was devastated and freely admitted she could not be a part of this and quickly ran from the house. She said she was not married to Mike and was under no obligation to take care of him or stick around.
Devious or Desperate Ava?
Meanwhile, Mike was even more confused at the PCPD as he reunited with Michael (Chad Duell) and wondered where Morgan was. Sonny (Maurice Benard) eventually sprung him from jail after cutting a deal with Ava (Maura West) to let her see Avery if she dropped the charges.
When Kiki (Hayley Erin) learned what Ava did, she was horrified her mother would use an old man like that.
But, Ava defended herself explaining what it feels like to never be able to see her own child.
Franco’s Decision
At the hospital, Franco (Roger Howarth) went over more of his childhood with Kevin and flashed back to when he pushed Drew down the stairs. Franco then decided he’d never be finished with therapy before his wedding that day, so he was going to just marry Elizabeth anyway.
Birthday Girl
It was more than wedding day in PC. It was also Scout’s birthday and family gathered to celebrate. Julian (William deVry) even sent a gift and Sam (Kelly Monaco) was incensed. Oscar (Garren Stitt) also attended the party and Drew (Billy Miller) agreed to chaperone his alternative dance that night.
Dance No More?
Speaking of the dance, it looks like the kids need to find a new location due to a sewage backup at Charlie’s Pub. Curtis then wondered if Jim Harvey had anything to do with that.
