The General Hospital (GH) recap for Tuesday, November 7 features an emotional day in Port Charles–and in prison.
Prison Problems
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) couldn’t help herself and went to visit Julian (William deVry) after learning he was beaten behind bars. She was shocked to see what kind of shape he was in, but filled her ex in on what’s been going on with Sam (Kelly Monaco), the two Jasons, and Derek Wells Media.
When Julian was taken back to his cell, Alexis noticed a thuggish looking inmate and wondered if he’s going to cause more violence for Julian.
A New Partner? Not!
Anna (Finola Hughes) begged Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to help her nab Cassandra (Jessica Tuck), but he wanted to stay as far away from this mess as possible. He didn’t realize that Cassandra was busy befriending Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Charlotte and they fell for her friendly act–hook, line, and sinker.
Blackmail
Cassandra later let Valentin know she’s now close to his wife and daughter and warned him something could happen to them. Valentin quickly realized he needs to rethink how he’s going to handle all of this.
Opioids Hit Home
Finn (Michael Easton) and Monica (Leslie Charleson) discussed the opioid crisis after someone was brought into the ER after almost overdosing. Finn also realized there’s something he can do to mitigate these drugs on the streets of Port Charles.
Over in Man Landers land, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) wanted to write an article on what it’s like to be the wife of Man Landers, but Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Amy (Risa Dorken) didn’t like how she wanted to handle it. Maxie took it upon herself to do what she wanted anyway.
When Amy finally went into work and was assigned the opioid OD patient, she was stunned to see it was her brother, Chet.
