General Hospital Fans Weigh in on Lucas’ Wedding Day Fate

With rumors still spreading like wildfire that Lucas may meet an untimely death on “General Hospital,” fans have a whole lot to say on the matter. As of now, it looks like he will only be badly hurt, but that information hasn’t been confirmed.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, GH Head Writer Jean Passanante indicates an incident at the hospital will end in a “dangerous confrontation, and it will impact Lucas and Brad’s wedding plans.”

As fans know, the couple known as Brucas plan to wed at The Nurses’ Ball this week, a year after they became engaged at the same event. However, wedding plans don’t necessarily mean a wedding on soaps, so Soap Hub asked whether you think a death could put these nuptials on hold for good.

Out of 7,000 votes, 78% of you are confident Lucas (Ryan Carnes) will make it through this brush with danger. You can’t imagine GH killing off a character that we watched grow up before our eyes. You also can’t imagine Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) losing another child the way she lost BJ all those years ago.

A smaller 15% don’t trust the GH scribes and think they’re about to break our hearts with the shocking murder of a beloved character. You think a Lucas murder mystery will add to the drama and intrigue, although you wish this character didn’t have to be sacrificed.

A very small 7% of you don’t care because you’re not invested in the character at all. We don’t see him very much as is, so his departure from the canvas wouldn’t be a major loss in your eyes.
