Are General Hospital Fans Seeing a ‘Nexis’ Between Neil and Alexis?

Some General Hospital couples ignite immediately. Others take the slow-burn approach. Neil (Joe Flanigan) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are definitely the latter.

One reason might be because neither is exactly a spring chicken anymore. They’ve both been through a lot on the relationship front, and are not about to jump into anything. It could be because they both have daughter issues.

Or it could be because Neil is Alexis‘ therapist and any relationship between the two of them would be grossly unethical, quasi-illegal, and it could cost Neil his license. But who cares about that? Do the fans want to see Neil and Alexis as the “Nexis” of Port Charles? What almost 9,000 of you care about more:

Fight the Power
For 82% of the audience, it’s ethics-shmethics. This is Port Charles, where mobsters and serial killers and rapists (oh, my!) walk the streets free and respected. Who cares about ethics? Especially in the face of True Love.

Alexis and Neil may not be in love yet, but there is a strong possibility of it happening. And, let’s face it, it’s been a while for Alexis. Sure, she’s mostly to blame, due to her terrible taste in men. But everyone deserves a second chance. And Neil isn’t a mobster. So he’s already totes ahead of the curve.

Not Worth It
On the other hand, 18% of you are advising Neil that, dude, Alexis isn’t worth giving up your career for. She is — what’s the word we’re looking for it…bad at relationships. Nice guy, bad guy (more the latter), Alexis finds a way to screw it up.

Neil seems to be one of the good guys — not that fans aren’t suspecting a last-minute twist — and, as such, he deserves better than getting mixed up with a woman who could blow up his entire life. For no good reason. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
