Are General Hospital Fans Loving New BFF’s Ava and Laura?

Is it any wonder Laura and Ava have struck up an odd couple friendship on General Hospital? They have so much in common! Even beyond the whole, they both thought they were sleeping with Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) thing.

They both have lived with the mob experience — even if Ava (Maura Wes) enjoyed it quite a bit more than Laura (Genie Francis) seemed to. And they both — deny it as much as you want, ladies – like their bad boys. But, are fans enjoying their friendship? What over 14,000 viewers had to say about it:

You Gotta Have Friends!
This is great, 82% of you enthuse! Ava needs friends. At least, a friend. She doesn’t really have anyone. Her brother has other drama going on, and her daughter is dead. Ava needs somebody to talk to.

And Laura isn’t the goodie-goodie she seems to be. It’s entirely possible she may have killed more people than Ava has. She knows what it’s like to make bad decisions about men — especially when they seemed so good at the time.

Maybe Ava can help Laura put the brakes on budding sociopath Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel). Scare him straight before he gets too comfortable with his life of crime. And Laura can help Ava feel better about being fooled by Ryan. After all, Laura was too…

Bad Influence
Body count aside, Laura is a good person. Ava is not. Laura cares about people. Ava does not. And, oh, yeah, Ava had no problem sleeping with who she thought was Laura’s husband.

Just because he turned out to be a psycho killer doesn’t negate the fact that Ava had no problem stealing him when she thought he wasn’t.

Ava is bad news, and Laura can do better, 18% of the audience asserts. And, at this point, both of them can do better than Kevin, who has some responsibility for this mess, too.
