Earlier this week, General Hospital star, Emme Rylan (Lulu) broke her nose while playing outside with her boys. She underwent surgery Thursday, and afterward,s she posted three photos to Instagram making it clear that humor truly is the best medicine.

No Show Issues
The actress wanted to make sure fans didn’t worry about how this would affect Lulu, so she tweeted this:

Injury update- I have surgery Thursday morning but because of already scheduled dark weeks i will not be taking time off from work. 🙂 #GH

Injury Details
Apparently it wasn’t all fun and games hanging out with her kids. She tweeted about how this injury came about:

.@Amanda_Budde My son was running to jump on a cushion I was on & I sat up just as he jumped, his head broke my nose! Taken down by 4yr old!
