Valentin told Nina about his past with Anna, when they were both spies in training on General Hospital.
The story touched Nina (Michelle Stafford), who sympathized with Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) medical woes and was appalled by Anna’s (Finola Hughes) attitude toward him at the time.
Afterwards, she made a beeline for Anna to confront her about her obsession with Valentin. Anna clarified that it was actually Valentin that was obsessed with her. A furious Nina stormed off, after chastising Anna for being shallow.

Anna is now public enemy #1 as far as Nina is concerned. She’ll be watching and gauging Anna’s every move, moving forward. Nina’s not about to let anyone come between her and Valentin.
She finally has the family she’s always dreamed about, even if it is with the dubious Valentin.

Just Not Sure
This is a tough call for the final 10% of fans. When it comes to feelings, be it love or hate, Nina only knows one kind: extreme and over the top!
She’s always been suspect of Anna; specifically the role she’s played in Valentin’s life. Therefore, Anna was always going to be her enemy.
