General Hospital Diagnosis: Is There A Doctor In The House For Alexis?

Alexis Davis has been having a hard time moving forward with her love life ever since she and Julian split up on General Hospital (GH).

Of course, that makes them sound like a normal couple who just found they couldn’t live together anymore — as opposed to a couple deeply in love until he tried to kill her with the very dagger that was used to kill her own mother. It’s really, really hard to walk your way back from that.

But is Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) of sound mind to pick someone new that is good for her? After all, it wasn’t that long ago that she was off the wagon and circling the drain, having destroyed her career, her relationship with her daughters, and lost the trust of many who cared about her.

And then there’s the ever-present ex, Julian (William deVry), who wants to reunite and doesn’t exactly make it easy for her to move forward.

But a new man has appeared on the scene. Dr. David Bensch (James DePaiva) seems like a decent man. Soap Hub asked if you think he’s a good choice for Alexis.

The Good Doctor
After over 3,500 votes were tallied, a very healthy 66% think David is just what the doctor ordered for Alexis. At least you don’t expect him to kill her and therefore he is already an improvement on her last man. Besides, he tolerates and actually likes a lot of her quirks — how sweet is that?!

Meanwhile, 34% refuse to think David is the right prescription for what ails Alexis. In fact, you’re not convinced that he isn’t nuts and will try to kill her too. There is too little known about him for you to approve — and let’s not forget the almost too eager to help Kiki (Hayley Erin) side of him. It’s almost creepy!
