Could Anna Fall for Valentine on General Hospital?

Valentine’s Day may be over, but General Hospital’s Valentin is still hoping for his love’s arrow to strike Anna — whether or not he’ll admit it.

But is this something that could ever possibly happen? Over 7,000 viewers lit up their keyboards to tell us their thoughts.

Drawing the Line
OK, so let’s not beat around the bush. Anna has a thing for bad boys. Really, really bad boys like Cesear (Anders Hove), less bad but still no choir-boys like Duke (Ian Buchanan), and even guys who claim their job is to put the bad boys away, but they can get pretty bad in the course of carrying out their duty, like Robert (Tristan Rogers).

But Valentin is too much for even Anna to handle, according to 52% of you. You do not want to see your heroine (who has a pretty checkered past herself, let’s not forget, but she does try hard to overcome her worst instincts) anywhere near a guy so bad that the baddest (step)-mother of them all, Helena (Constance Towers) fears for her life.

The best Anna (Finola Hughes) should strive for is to check-mate Valentin, so that he doesn’t go after the people she loves. But as for her ever loving him, that’s a non-starter.

Who Among You Can Cast the First Stone?
Then again, Anna forgave Duke a lot. And Robert forgave Anna a lot. (Who remembers the fake scar? And the not telling him Robin existed?) So who is Anna not to forgive Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)? She knows there’s good deep inside him, she’s seen it. Maybe, 26% of fans suggest, she ought to see if she can bring it out in him. And if sparks fly along the way….

Mr. Right
Sell it to me, is what 23% of viewers are saying to The Powers That Be. They’re not saying yes to Anna and Valentin (Vanna?), and they’re not saying no. They’re saying write me a story that will make me care!
