For the past few years, General Hospital fans have gotten to attend Creation Entertainment’s event in Burbank dedicated to the ABC medical drama where they’ve met their Port Charles favorites up close and personal. Now, the 2020 gathering has been moved due to concerns over coronavirus.
Coronavirus Affects General Hospital Event
Per Creation Entertainment’s website: “As we continue to monitor and carefully follow the accepted safety protocols concerning the COVID-19 virus, we care deeply about supporting the health and welfare of our guests, attendees and staff. Therefore, we are moving the date of the Official General Hospital Convention at the Marriott Burbank Hotel from May 29-31, 2020 to NEW DATE: November 6-8, 2020!
“We are currently working with each of the guests to move their appearance to the new date and we’ll keep you informed as each of the actors confirm. Check below under our guest list for current confirmations.
“We will be honoring all General Hospital Convention admission passes (keeping your same great seats!) and a la carte autograph and photo op tickets for the new date. If you are unable to attend the convention in November, please contact customer.service@creationent.com for refunds and assistance.
“Attendees must cancel their hotel reservations at this time. We will have new details and booking links with the hotel shortly, and we will update you with the new link as soon as possible.
“As for flight cancellations, many air carriers have amended their policies and procedures during this health crisis to accommodate customers. Please contact your airlines directly for information.
“Thank you for your support and understanding as we unite together through this challenging time. Please stay safe and we look forward to celebrating with our fellow GH fans in November!”
