Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?

Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles?

Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?

Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.

William DeVry is back as mobster Julian Jerome on Monday, November 6. The character was sent to prison in July, when contract talks between the actor and the show’s brass stalled.

However, deVry signed a new pact with the soap in August. He’ll share scenes with Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis).

Real-life military vet Chris Van Etten debuts as Chet Driscoll, Amy’s (Risa Dorken) brother, on Wednesday, November 8.

Two Carly connections are heading to Port Charles. Tamara Braun, who actually played the popular heroine from 2001 to 2005, is set to debut as a new character later this month. Speculation is that she could be Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) mother, Kim.

Meanwhile, current Carly Laura Wright’s real-life boyfriend, Wes Ramsey, has been cast as Peter August. The daytime vet played Sam Spencer on Guiding Light and Owen on Days of our Lives. He’ll begin airing in mid-November.

Gavin Alexander Hammon is out as Devlin, the henchman who kidnapped Sam from the Aurora Media launch party on Halloween.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
