General Hospital Comings and Goings: A STUNNING Farewell And A Casting Coup

The week of August 26, 2019
Daytime veteran Michael E. Knight, best known for his Emmy-winning role as Tad Martin on All My Children, is heading back to ABC. The actor has been cast in a new GH role that’s being kept under wraps. Word is he’ll be making his debut soon.

Knight was last on the daytime scene three years ago, when he recurred on The Young and the Restless. He portrayed Dr. Simon Neville from 2015 to 2016.

Michelle Argyris is set to debut as Kendra this week. The actress will share scenes with Nancy Lee Grahn’s Alexis, who’s been looking for a new therapist. Argyris played Miss G in the primetime series Big Top Academy. She also has some soap experience, having played a flight attendant named Margo on The Bold and the Beautiful for a couple of episodes in 2016

Hayley Erin briefly reprised her role as murder victim Kiki Jerome, when she made an “appearance” to her tortured mom, Maura West’s Ava.

Billy Miller wrapped up his five-year run on the soap when his alter ego Drew Cane left for Afghanistan to return money stolen by Shiloh (Coby Ryan McLaughlin). He also decided to track down Andre Maddox, which may be his undoing.

That was Ronn Rogge playing Barry the foreman at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) coffee warehouse. The character was quickly fired after trying to frame Dev (Ashton Arbab) for stealing. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
