The week of August 10, 2020
Another week, another recast for GH, which has only been back on the air with new episodes for a week. On the heels of Lindsey Hartley subbing for Kelly Monaco as Sam McCall, Briana Lane has stepped in to replace Amanda Setton as Brook Lynn Quartermaine. Lane’s credits include the primetime series The Real Housewives of Horror, Young & Hungry, The New Normal, and Switched at Birth.

Setton, who took over the role of Brook Lynn in 2019, is off the show temporarily. The pregnant actress made her last appearance on August 5 and has begun her maternity leave. She said it was advised that she not be on the set while pregnant due to the threat of COVID. It looks as if her Setton’s two days of scenes this week were taped before the pandemic shutdown in March.
Also new to the GH cast is Christopher Cousins, who has begun a stint as Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) doctor at the WSB clinic in Geneva. Cousins is a daytime veteran who has appeared on Another World (as Greg Houston), As the World Turns (as Colin Crowley) and One Life to Lives (as Cain Rogan). Will his character be able to convince Dante to get better and go home to Lulu? That would certainly make things complicated in her relationship with Dustin…
