The week of July 3, 2017
Steve Burton is heading back to the soap. However, as has become new practice with GH, who he’ll be playing is being kept hush.
Billy Miller, of course, is currently portraying Burton’s former Port Charles alter ego, Jason Morgan. During a Facebook Live chat, Burton told fans, “I can’t wait. [General Hospital has] been my home for so long. It’s like my family there. We’re just really looking forward to reuniting.”

There’s a big exit on the horizon. Rebecca Budig, who plays Hayden Barnes, has gotten her pink slip and already taped her exit scenes. Budig had signed a four-year contract with the soap, last summer.
Nicolas Bechtel has wrapped up his latest run as Spencer. He shared the news on Twitter, along with a photo of himself holding balloons as he exited the studio. “Blessed with the most awesome TV family. We had a good run. See you next summer #GH,” he tweeted.
Last week, Rio Mangini was in as Josslyn’s new pal, Oscar. This week, he’s out. The teen actor landed the role of McQuaid in new Netflix show Everything Sucks! GH will recast the part.
