Who’s coming and who’s going from General Hospital (GH)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join the General Hospital fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the ABC soap.
The week of May 28, 2018
There’s a new Maxie heading to Port Charles… albeit temporarily. Kirsten Storms, who had to miss some episodes due to a bout with the flu, is being replaced by Molly Burnett (ex-Melanie, Days of Our Lives).
Burnett has actually filled in for Storms before, last appearing in July 2016. Look for the actress to begin airing on Friday, June 1.
Elizabeth Hendrickson, last seen as fashionista Chloe Valentine on The Young and the Restless, begins airing as Margaux. The character is the attorney prosecuting Carly (Laura Wright) for her altercation with Nelle (Chloe Lanier).
After an onscreen break, Kathleen Gati returns as Dr. Liesl Obrecht, when her character gets to meet her new grandson.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for air times.
