There’s a new Monica Quartermaine heading to Port Charles. Leslie Charleson, who’s portrayed the character since 1977, is taking a short leave of absence to deal with a real-life injury

While she’s gone,veteran actress Patty McCormack will be filling in for her. McCormack, who is perhaps best known for starring in the 1956 film The Bad Seed, is slated to begin airing in May.
The Chew co-host Carla Hall has taped a guest spot on the soap, which will also air in May. There’s no word as to who she’ll be playing.
Ryan Carnes is back as Lucas Jones, this week. He’ll interact with his TV dad, William deVry’s Julian.
Hugh Holub plays Herr Bruhl, a Swiss bank manager. He’ll share scenes with Steve Burton (Jason) and Kelly Monaco (Sam). He had a short stint as Hayes on Days of Our Lives in 2012.
